Manningham SES volunteer their time to rescue us from storms, flood, or if we get lost in the bush — they should not have to cook sausage sizzles as well.
SES Volunteers are expected to give up personal time with their family to train, provide education, fundraise as well as attend emergencies all year round. It is our responsibility as a community to support them where we can.
This is where Thunderball comes in.
The Thunderball Foundation is a group of locals fundraising for the SES.
To assist our SES to focus their time on emergency response, the 2025 Thunderball aims to raise $100,000 net-profit, to assist in the purchase of a 4×4 Crew Cab Ute, giving back many hours to our volunteers, so that the SES can concentrate on what they do best…saving lives.
Thunderball will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025. It will be a gala event at beautiful Bramleigh Estate, Warrandyte where 300+ guests will enjoy a beautiful Hamptons-themed venue and delicious dining experience.
Opportunities exist for a range of sponsorship and donation opportunities.
Our Olympian Sponsors will have naming rights to a facet of the event (such as the stage, or the dance floor, or the beer garden), as well as complimentary tickets to the event, and in-event signage and activations, promotion on social media and other avenues in the lead up to, during, and post-event. Our media partner, 42K Media will provide a tailored promotional video to highlight the donor’s involvement as a major sponsor. These sought after opportunities will only be available for one donor per industry.
Titan and Hero sponsors will also be well looked after in terms of promotional visibility, with the company’s branding prominent on flyers, social media, associated websites.
Donations of goods or servies for our silent, live and online auctions are also welcome, and will be offered appropriate acknowledgement.

As an alternative to cash sponsorship, if your company has a product or service to offer that would assist us in our organisation or production of Thunderball we would be pleased to hold discussions in regard to cash and in-kind components to your sponsorship choice. Benefits and recognition would be available for such support and offered on a case-by-case basis.
Product donations
The silent auction, live auction and raffle are an important part of the evening, helping us to achieve our objective of raising at least $150,000 net-profit. We are seeking assistance with product donations to be raffled and auctioned during the event.
